PS. To anyone who doesn't know, Channukah starts this Sunday, Ben's Birthday is the 22nd and he is 21, and Christmas is only 5 days away!

wow. i am sitting in my mom's house at the beginning of my longest visit here in over a year... i still need to write 22 Mid Years and plan to use the peace and calm to get a lot of work done... but the first few days are for relaxing and i decided to do that by sitting down and finally reading your entire blog this morning. a big part of me is so envious of the experiences you are having right now and makes me miss traveling so so much... but an even bigger part is just so happy for you and oddly proud, which is weird cuz it's not like you're my child or anything.... between your immersion in the cultures of israel and your work with women in need and your speaking engagements to constantly keep learning and of course your awesome work with Best Buddies...
you really are an amazing person anna. i hope you know that. i truly respect and admire you and everything you are doing. have a fantastic christmas and SO MUCH FUN with katie! i miss you!
